FAQS

Is It Legal to Buy THCA/CBD Hemp Flower?

Hemp flower is legal at a federal level. However, individual states are permitted to restrict the sale and use of cannabinoid products, including THCA/CBD. Customers are advised to check the laws in their respective states to confirm any restrictions. In particular, it's important to confirm the legal age for buying and smoking hemp flowers. In some states, the legal age for buying CBD products or smoking hemp is 18 years old. However, some states have raised the legal age to 21 years old.

What is the legal status of CBD use in the US?

Any cannabis plant that has more than 0.3% Delta9 THC is considered to be marijuana, a Schedule I drug in the United States, which makes it more subject to restrictions. Many producers curb these legalities by breeding industrial hemp that produces a lot of resin but has lesser amounts of Delta9-THC than the 0.3% legal limit. The popular claim that CBD oil is legal in 50 states is due to the fact that it can be sourced from plants other than the much-stigmatized and heavily-regulated marijuana.

In order to be sure about the legality of your planned CBD intake, make sure to consult your physician and your employers, know how your preferred CBD product is manufactured, and educate yourself on the legal status of cannabis products in your state.

How is THCa Made?

THCa isn’t “made”—it’s naturally produced by the cannabis plant as it grows. Found in raw cannabis and hemp flowers, THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the precursor to THC. When cannabis is heated, THCa converts to THC, which is responsible for psychoactive effects. In its raw form, though, THCa doesn’t cause a “high” and is sought after for potential health benefits. Our THCa flower is carefully grown and harvested to retain its natural THCa content, without any artificial processing.

Is THCa psychoactive?

No, THCa itself is not psychoactive. In its raw form, THCa doesn’t produce a “high” like THC does. However, when THCa is heated—through smoking, vaping, or cooking—it converts into THC, which is psychoactive. Many people use raw THCa for its potential health benefits without the psychoactive effects, while others prefer to activate it to experience THC.

Does smoking THCa convert it to THC?

Yes, smoking THCa does convert it to THC. When THCa is exposed to heat—through smoking, vaping, or cooking—it undergoes a process called decarboxylation, turning it into THC. This conversion is what produces the psychoactive effects associated with THC.

Why are the compostable lids only on the 1/8 & 1/4 products?

Unfortunately that size is the largest size available by the manufacturer, we are looking for other options to accommodate larger sizes.

Can i fail a drug test from smoking THCa?

Yes, smoking THCa can cause you to fail a drug test. When THCa is heated—through smoking, vaping, or other forms of decarboxylation—it converts into THC, the psychoactive compound that drug tests typically screen for. Even though THCa itself isn’t psychoactive, once it becomes THC, it can be detected in standard drug testing methods.
